    • 20 years experience editing, writing, and consulting on educational materials. I've worked with Cambridge University Press, Cengage, Continuum Press, Corwin Press, HarperCollins UK, Macmillan Education, Macmillan English Campus, McGraw-Hill, Oxford University Press, Pearson Education, and University of Michigan Press. 
    • 25+ textbooks written, including student books, teacher’s guides, magazine articles, and online materials. 
    • Accomplished presenter: papers, half- and full-day teacher training workshops, and promotional presentations at professional conferences. Numerous plenary addresses and featured speaker presentations at recent TESOL and international conventions. 
    • Test development: author of an iBT TOEFL textbook; creation of in-house placement materials; published grammar tests; item writing for standardized tests, both print and online. Familiar with ETS and Defense Language Institute test formats. 
    • Extensive experience with curriculum development: short- and long-term courses; university, 7-12, and adult ed. courses; corporate training programs; English, French, and Japanese.  
    • 18 years full-time language teaching: ESL, English (including composition and grammar), Japanese, and French. Experience working overseas and in multicultural contexts.
